I was born and raised in Spring Lake. I am a Laker alumna, a former coach, a parent and a community member, and I have a lot of pride in both our schools and the community that supports them.
Service to Spring Lake schools is also part of my family's history. Both my grandfather and my father served on the Spring Lake School Board. It would be an honor and a privilege to continue that legacy as a third-generation board member while bringing new ideas and a new perspective for today's students and families.
If elected, I want to be reasonable, responsible and respectful. I will listen, ask thoughtful questions, support transparency and keep students at the center of every decision.

Katie's connection to Spring Lake spans generations, but her campaign is focused on the future. She wants to protect what makes the district special while bringing new ideas, welcoming parents as partners, supporting transparent decisions and expanding opportunities that reflect the interests and futures of today's students.
